Knicks guard Jarrett Jack raised the bar for ineptness with the worst full-court heave attempt in NBA history.
The New York Knicks have been a disgrace to the NBA for quite some time. They are comic relief at best and an abomination to basketball at worst. Recently, the Knicks have been signing veterans. Jarrett Jack, most recently of the New Orleans Pelicans, is one of them.
During a game against the Houston Rockets, Jack had his “welcome to the Knicks” moment. And not in a good way.
At the end of the second quarter, Jack attempted a full-court heave to beat the buzzer. What he unleashed is simply the worst full-court heave attempt of all-time.

You know they say, Knicks fans. Sometimes you need to laugh to stop yourself from crying. That’s about all Knicks fans can do after seeing whatever that was. On the bright side, Jack might be able to get a tryout attempt with the New York Jets with an arm like his.
Recently, the veteran guard has toiled from team to team. Jack has spent time with the Pelicans, Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, New Orleans Hornets, Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers and Portland Trail Blazers. Over his career, he has averaged 28.1 minutes per game.
Jack’s most productive season came with the Pacers. During his one season there, he put up13.1 points per game with 4.1 assists per game. Jack’s PPG total with them is his highest with any team. His career high in points per game came with the New Orleans Hornets in 2011-12, when he put up 15.6.
Next: Every NBA team's Mount Rushmore
So in case you’re wondering what Jack has been up to, you need not worry. He’s fitting in quite well with the Knicks. The soon to be 34-year-old guard is going to where all old players go to retire — New York.
