The 2017 NLDS is tied at one apiece for the Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals. Here’s what you need to know to watch Game 3 on TV and online.
With both teams sitting with one win each, Game 3 of the 2017 NLDS will set the tone for both the Chicago Cubs and the Washington Nationals knowing that Game 4 is inevitable. The Cubs took Game 1 in a 3-0 shutout over the Nationals, but the Nats fired back with a 6-3 win over the Cubs in Game 2. The Cubs look to get these last two wins done at home, but the Nationals are not going to let this series go easily.
This game marks a big moment for the Nationals as ace pitcher Max Scherzer returns after dealing with a hamstring injury. Scherzer (RHP, 16-6, 2.51 ERA, 268 K) doesn’t have a great history in the NLDS (he lost both 2016 starts) but he has a 2.92 ERA in six starts against Chicago. The Cubs will have lefty Jose Quintana (LHP, 11-11, 4.15 ERA, 207 K) on the mound. This is Quintana’s first postseason appearance.
