The Replay is back, and so is Matt Bonner

The REPLAY is back! We know that you’ve probably been distraught all summer without us. How are you supposed to process a summer full of NBA gossip and fashion week appearances without El and Al? We sincerely apologize for leaving you, but we are officially back and ready for the NBA season.

We are up to our usual shenanigans, reflecting on all the madness of the past few months. A discussion of Russ’s new contract with Oklahoma City ensues and leads to a brief moment of conspiracy theorizing about Noah Westbrook’s real age. Next, we try to unpack the emotions behind “Hoodie Melo” and wonder whether the hoodie will make it into an actual NBA game. Instead of crying sad tears over the Lebron and Kyrie breakup, we cry happy tears over the Lebron D-Wade reunion. Next, A quick deep dive on Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s rumored baby… We couldn’t help ourselves…

Most importantly, we were joined by our favorite guest, former San Antonio Spurs star Matt Bonner. He called in to talk about his partnership with Futuro braces and the NBA offseason. it sounds like he is confident he can take Elle in a HORSE rematch, but he sounded nervous when he heard that El is also a Futuro diehard. Sounds like Al needs to start working out more so she can feel what all this joint support is about.

We also talked with Matt about the highlights of the offseason. He talks about Tim Duncan’s important hurricane relief work and gives us his opinion on which team improved most this summer. Spoiler alert: if you are a fan of Matt’s tiny house, this episode might be very sad for you. We close out our always-awesome catch up with Matt with a game of rapid fire questions on everything from the shape of the earth to the song of the summer.
