When do Star Wars Episode 8 tickets go on sale? How can you purchase Star Wars: The Last Jedi tickets? Everyone wants to know, and we are here to help.
Tickets for Episode 8 will go on sale Monday, Oct. 9 at halftime of the Monday Night Football game between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears. (If you’re wondering why, ESPN is also owned by Disney/ABC, just like Lucasfilm. Cross-promotion!)
Halftime is dependent on how long the first half of the Vikings-Bears game runs, including the game itself and commercial breaks, so there’s no set time when The Last Jedi tickets will go on sale.
But kickoff takes place at 8:30 p.m. ET, so you’ll want to be online starting at 9:30 p.m. Eastern time (which is 6:30 p.m. Pacific, 7:30 p.m. Mountain, and 8:30 p.m. Central).
Once Monday Night Football is at the half, The Last Jedi tickets will be available online, both on Fandango or at AMC Theatres.
It goes without saying, but we will anyway, that The Last Jedi tickets will be a hot commodity, so prepare for a wait if you’re buying tickets online, as both websites will likely experience heavy traffic.
But if you want to be among the first to get your Star Wars: The Last Jedi tickets, then settle in for tonight’s Monday Night Football game and get your keyboard warmed up. Because as soon as that trailer arrives, so will your opportunity to snag your seat to Episode 8. May the Force be with you.
