In a matchup between two NFC North teams on Monday night, the Chicago Bears will play host to the Minnesota Vikings inside Soldier Field.

A new era of football for the Chicago Bears will start on Monday night, as first-round pick Mitchell Trubisky makes his first NFL start under center. Trubisky was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, as the Bears traded up one spot to select the North Carolina signal-caller. During the first quarter of the season, the Bears went with Mike Glennon at quarterback, and he just could not avoid the turnovers.

For Minnesota, they will have to deal with another injury to a key piece to their offense. Early favorite for NFC Rookie of the Year Dalvin Cook tore his ACL in the team’s road loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 4. The Vikings will have to go with Latavius Murray at running back the rest of the way, and he is coming off a double-digit touchdown season for the Oakland Raiders in 2016.

The Vikings are hitting the road in this one, and the Bears have shown they can play good football inside Soldier Field. The issue will be how Trubisky fares against a very good Vikings defense, which is sure to give him a ton of different looks throughout the game. Chicago can certainly win this one, but I believe the Vikings go on the road and win a big NFC North matchup in primetime on Monday Night Football.
