In a bit of a strange turn, Neville reportedly walked out of WWE RAW on Monday night and has asked for his release.

On Tuesday, there was apparently an odd rumor making the rounds stating Neville walked out prior to WWE RAW taking place Monday night, and what’s more, he has even asked the company for his release. You’d hate to see someone as exciting and talented as Neville leave the company, but at the same time, you could maybe see where he could be a bit frustrated with his direction within the company.

But again, this was just a rumor going around the internet on Tuesday, but now we’re starting to get some word on just how valid it might actually be. According to Ryan Satin and Pro Wrestling Sheet, the original main event for Monday night was not Enzo Amore putting his cruiserweight title on the line against Kalisto in a lumberjack match, rather the bout was supposed to be against Neville, with Enzo somehow pulling out the win. As we came to find out, though, the match was changed to Kalisto as the challenger, and he ended the night as the new champion.

The match was changed, reportedly, because Neville walked out right before the show hit the air. As for Neville asking for his release, according to the report, there might be some truth to that as well, so there’s a chance he may not be with the company much longer.

This is really all we know for right now, but certainly, more will come out about this in the coming days here. Either Neville is going to get back to work, or we’re about to be hit with one of those infamous WWE.com posts announcing the two have parted ways.

Hopefully, for our viewing sake, it’s not the latter, but even if it is, there’s no doubt Neville would rake up on the indie scene in today’s world. We’ll keep you updated as more about this situation becomes available.
