The best moments from Greg Olsen and Travis Kelce Chip Challenge (Video)
NFL tight ends Greg Olsen and Travis Kelce recently tried the world’s hottest chip and the results are wonderful for the rest of us.
Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce regularly endure crushing hits from defensive players, but an object that can fit in the palm of anyone’s hand completely took them down. Both Kelce and Olsen took part in the Paqui One Chip Challenge, succumbing to the spice.
The challenge, which it should be noted both Kelce and Olsen shared with the #ad hashtag, is wildly entertaining. Here are the best moments.
Just before inserting the chip known as the Carolina Reaper Madness into his mouth, Kelce pays homage to his tongue:
"Cheers…..to all the taste buds that I’m losing."
After inserting the chip into his mouth and beginning to chew, Olsen gives his first impression:
"I feel like it’s going to come out of my nose."
After taking a few breaths, Olsen reiterates his opinion of the chip:
"That’s banana-land."
With tears visibly coming out of his eyes, Kelce calls out Olsen:
"You can see that I haven’t even dried my eyes Greg."
After seeking relief from a few sips of milk, Olsen ponders the wisdom of his decision:
"Who made that? Why would you make that?"
As Olsen downs his glass of milk, Kelce again calls him out and states his determination to remain lactose-free:
"Wussies drink milk. I stopped drinking milk when I was 15 Greg."
Olsen responds with a rebuttal to Kelce:
"You know what the craziest thing about this is? I don’t even like milk. I haven’t had a glass of milk since I was like five. Not even kidding."
Both Kelce and Olsen conclude with sharing their sentiments that everyone should take the challenge, which can be done on Paqui’s web site while supplies last. Interested fans should hurry, as the last time a 25 percent less spicy version of the chip went up for sale it sold out in under 30 minutes, and the waiting list was nearly 19,000 names long.
