College Football Picks Against The Spread October 11-13, 2017
My college football pick em points were down to 38 this week, my lowest total of the season. However, I think I did better against the spread. I haven’t finished all of the college football from last weekend yet, so stay tuned for my results against the spread later in the week. If there is a significant change in any of these lines, I will update them before game time.

For those of you that are new here, I put myself out there every week. For the last six years, I have picked every single college football game. Sounds easy, right? I thought so too. So I have picked them all against the spread. That significantly increases the degree of difficulty.
I take the average of the odds from the six major Vegas casinos and round that to the nearest half point. There will be no ties here. Ties are for the other football.
Some site will sell you top ten picks for a fee. Some will even give you a couple of free picks to lure you in. This is every game picked, all for free.
This contains the picks for FBS vs. FBS games only. It is too hard to get an accurate spread on games that involve 1-AA teams.
I will assign a point value “bet” on each game, between one and five points. That way you can see just how confident I am in each pick. Look for those at the end of each line. I am 27 points to the good this year, but am still paying last year’s debt.
I cannot be responsible for you losing any of your worldly possessions, significant others, or limbs to a loan shark. This is for entertainment purposes only! I am a simple person. I cannot have that on my conscience.
We have a season-high 59 FBS vs. FBS games this weekend. No games are against FCS opponents, so we should get a better feel for who can do what going forward. Let’s get to the early picks!
South Alabama at Troy(-15.5)(2): This is quite a few points, but Troy is far more proven, and they are at home. The Jaguars have not played well on the road. Give me Troy.
Texas State at Louisiana(-13.5)(2): The Thursday night lost it’s luster with the Georgia Tech-Miami game moving to Saturday. It is a great chance for the Sun Belt to have the national stage all to themselves tomorrow night. However, I doubt this is a good game. The Bobcats have been awful on the road. Give me the Cajuns.
(2)Clemson(-22.5) at Syracuse(2): Syracuse is not a bad team. This line is up with Kelly Bryant being cleared to play, but I also know that Clemson will take him out once they get up three scores. That is a strong indicator that Clemson wont cover. I’ll take the Orange at home.
(8)Washington State(-14.5) at California(4): I don’t care for the half, but the Cougars boast Mike Leach’s best defense ever and an offense that Cal definitely can’t stop. This gets ugly. Wazzu wins big!
