The international break is over and we are back with Premier League FanDuel DFS. We have all the tips, picks and analysis to help you build cashing lineups in FanDuel EPL.
Is there anyone who enjoys the international break? There used to be USMNT fans who did but the horror show performance from the US means that we are all dying for the Premier League to return.
Two weeks ago we had another good week of cashing on FanDuel EPL. It was a strange week with lots of my favorite picks from the column not making the starting lineups. That did mean there was a ton of value in late swaps. I broke down how I played my lines on Twitter which you can read below:
There is currently only slate for EPL this weekend on FanDuel. A six game main slate starting at 10am EST and including the late game. Kind of bummed there is no slate that includes the huge Liverpool v Man Utd early game on Saturday. I had some hot takes for that game!
Three of the top teams are in excellent spots this week. Tottenham, Arsenal and Man City all have elite DFS matchups. I am going to look to build my lines around stacking these teams. Chelsea are also in a great spot against Crystal Palace though I prefer the other three teams for stacking.
With some players returning late from international duty and big Champions League games coming up this week there will be some changes on the team sheets. I’ll be on Twitter @davidgatesports to chat through lineups on Saturday from 9am EST. Happy to give advice with any surprises.
So let’s get it – FanDuel EPL Gameweek 8!

FanDuel EPL Goalkeepers:
If you hate picking goalkeepers the easiest thing to do is to find a cheap GK who will likely keep a clean sheet. That man this week is Hugo Lloris (4500) who is facing a Bournemouth side who have only 5 goals this year. Two of those were against Brighton. Spurs have the best defensive unit in the Premier League.
Another shoe in for a clean sheet is Jonas Lössl (5000). He is facing a Swansea attack that has only mustered 11 shots on target (SOT) in 7 games. That is super super bad. Give up any hope of more than 15 FanDuel points but if you are happy to grab that clean sheet and 3x value then go for it.
So who might go off for a big day? Nick Pope (5500) is in great form. Burnley are giving up a ton of shots and Pope is making the most of his opportunity with Tom Heaton injured. He’s the most expensive keeper today but at only 5.5k that should frighten you. West Ham rank 9th for SOT. He could easily get the CS bonus and a bunch of saves.
What about the four keepers going up against the big teams; Butland, Begovic, Gomes and Hennessey? For sheer volume I’d go Jack Butland (5000). Man City lead in SOT but that will dip a little with Aguero out.

FanDuel EPL Defenders
The key defenders of both Huddersfield and Burnley are some of the most dependable on FanDuel EPL DFS right now. Consequently they are all priced between $6-7k. If you are building cash lineups I would definitely consider them with Burnley a little ahead of Huddersfield in matchup.
I am going to be stacking Arsenal, Spurs and Man City so I am looking to the DEF spot for my savings. Top of the list is Kevin Wimmer (4000) who should start again with Ryan Shawcross being ruled out with a back injury. He has an elite matchup with Man City and is at a bargain price.
Damien Delaney (4500) was the key play last week where his $3.5k and 24 FanDuel points helped me cash. His price has had little bump but he is still in the bargain range. He has a good matchup against Chelsea – though Morata being out takes a little edge of it. Joel Ward (5000) and Jeffrey Schlupp (4500) are also good value considerations.
One player I will be including in my Arsenal stack is Sead Kolasinac (6000) who is a high floor defender in the Gunners’ 3-4-3 system. He is also due an assist or even a goal. Love pairing him with Arsenal attackers against Watford.

FanDuel EPL Midfielders
One player I am just plugging into my lineups every time he is available is Aaron Mooy (8500) of Huddersfield. He is a near guarantee of a mid 20’s FanDuel point total. That is just from periphery stats. He also has assist and goal upside that we have not seen since the first few weeks of the season. He also plays Swansea this week. Get him in.
I’ve already told you that I’ll be stacking the big teams this week and my favorite of the three is Arsenal whose prices are a little lower and should have lower ownership than the Spurs and City chalk. Though I think they have the exact same upside as the other stacks. The one Arsenal midfielder I want this week is Aaron Ramsey (8000).
It is never a dumb move to pair Christian Eriksen (11000) with Harry Kane. But at $11k you are banking on him getting a goal or an assist. My only hesitation is that he has not had either of those at home yet this year. They are still figuring out the Wembley thing. Though it is really hard fade the matchup with Bournemouth.
The Man City stack is a (pricey) no brainer. Silva (10500), de Bruyne (11500), Sane (9000) and Sterling (9500) are good plays together. If you are looking to play Chelsea this week then you must have Eden Hazard (9000). He will likely be playing as a forward in a 3-5-2 formation. Palace are really bad with 17 goals conceded.
Any value out there at MID? Really love Darren Fletcher (6000) in the defensive midfield against those Man City attackers. Even more so with Joe Allen out. I’m looking out for Manuel Lanzini (6500) who is returning from injury. I will take a flyer on him in a GPP line if he starts.

FanDuel EPL Forwards
Harry Kane (13000) is a monster. You know that already. As I said earlier, this matchup with Bournemouth is elite. But with questions over their performances at Wembley, and his maxed out price, it is okay to fade him this week if you want the savings.
I love the pairing of Alexander Lacazette (10500) with Alexis Sanchez (10000) as the Arsenal forwards face Watford. More goals are predicted for City and Spurs but there is one stat that gets me excited about this game. Watford have conceded all 12 of their goals from inside the area this year. That’s almost two a game in the box. Give me both Arsenal forwards this week.
I like the opportunity that Michy Batshuayi (10000) has as the only fit Chelsea forward against the worst defense in the league. Equally with Aguero missing Gabriel Jesus (11500) is a great play against Stoke. I prefer him in a stack rather than as a one-off play.
The only value forward I like the look of is Troy Deeney (5500) who could start against Arsenal. That would allow you to put together a four man Man City stack.

FanDuel EPL DFS Lineups
Note: these are sample lineups and are not optimized. The only guarantee I can give you is that I will playing them too. I will also have some lines that are not here. Best thing is to take some of these picks and build your own lineup – especially in GPP – as lineup sharing only reduces the amount you can win.
