Sony Michel trucked a Missouri defender right out of the game

Georgia running back Sony Michel is terrifying and you should probably not try to tackle him.

The Georgia Bulldogs have two of the best running backs in the country on their roster in Nick Chubb and Sony Michel. They’re two backs who quite frankly are just terrifying out there on the field, as they can be physical just as much as they can be fast when they get into the open field. Michel actually was nice enough to put on a demonstration of this on Saturday night.

Georgia is looking to stay undefeated as they take on the Missouri Tigers Saturday night, and as the first half was coming to a close, Georgia was looking to add to their 31-21 lead when they handed the ball to Michel. He found his way through a hole and then he found himself coming right up against Tigers defender DeMarkus Acy.

Well as the physical Michel tends to do from time to time, he lowered the shoulder and was very much here for the contact. As it turns out, Acy was in fact not ready for the contact, and because of this, we’re pretty sure that Michel now owns his soul.

I mean, come on, that’s just not fair at all. That was a deadly mismatch to begin with and Acy paid the price for trying to make the tackle. You have to give him credit for having the guts to take on a challenge like this, though, even if it did knock him from the game.

This is just all another good example of why Georgia may have the scariest backfield of anyone in the country. It’s not just Michel who can do this to you, it’s Chubb as well should he ever get the chance.
