In an AFC West matchup inside the Oakland Coliseum, the Oakland Raiders will play host to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon.

The Oakland Raiders jumped out to a 2-0 start this season, easily dispatching of the Tennessee Titans on the road, and then the New York Jets at home. However, they have fallen on hard times ever since and will come into Sunday’s game looking to avoid a fourth straight loss. Their opponent will be AFC West rival Los Angeles, who earned their first win of the season this past Sunday on the road against the New York Giants.

For Oakland, they are hoping to get Derek Carr back, as the offense really sputtered without him under center last week against the Baltimore Ravens. In fact, the offense has looked really bad even with him in there this season, so new offensive coordinator Todd Downing better have a good game plan against a tough Chargers pass rush. The combination of Melvin Ingram and Joey Bosa can be dominant for Los Angeles, so this Raiders offensive line better do all they can to protect a quarterback who broke his back two weeks ago.

Anytime these two teams get together, it is bound to be a good one, and we should see some fireworks on Sunday. The Raiders are looking to get back on the winning track, but the Chargers are coming off a solid win on the road in Week 5. If Carr plays, the Raiders should win, but with a Los Angeles team brimming with confidence coming into town, it will take all hands on deck inside the Oakland Coliseum in Week 6.
