Alabama 500 from Talladega: Watch online

The feel good story of the 2017 NASCAR season might happen at Talladega, and we’ve got the info you need to watch it live.
For most of this season, it hasn’t looked like Dale Earnhardt Jr. was going to write a storybook last chapter to his NASCAR career. Leave it to Talladega Superspeedway and the Alabama 500 to possibly change all that.
Earnhardt hasn’t had the speed fans are used to seeing out of him for big chunks of 2017, and whether it was due to lingering effects of his missed time from last year or a general malaise at Hendrick Motorsports, it hasn’t been a whole lot of fun for Junior Nation. Dale Jr. missed the cut for the playoffs and has rarely been in contention for one last win.
But one place Earnhardt has always shined is at Talladega, and qualifying made it appear he might still have a final batch of restrictor plate magic in him. Junior qualified on the pole, rekindling the exciting possibility of him riding off into the sunset with one last win at a track where he’s always excelled.
Throw in the fact that the Alabama 500 could shake up the playoff picture with just one race after this in the Round of 12, especially with spring Talladega winner Ricky Stenhouse Jr. showing good speed and starting fifth and you’ve got yourself a must-watch race.
