Aaron Judge hit a three-run homer to blow things open against the Houston Astros in Game 3 of the ALCS on Monday night.
Aaron Judge is having himself a night in Game 3 of the ALCS. With the action back at Yankee Stadium, Judge was making sure the fans in attendance got their chance to see the MVP candidate make big plays. He got it started by flashing the glove with a leaping catch against the wall.
After Judge showed off the glove, he broke things open with his bat. With two runners on and the Yankees sporting a nifty five-run lead against the Houston Astros, Judge hit a line drive shot out over the left field wall.
The ball traveled just over and it was a playoff home run as the fans all rose to their feet. It was enough to push the Yankees to a whopping an eight-run lead and forced the Astros to further empy their bullpen.

It’s been proven time and time again that the best players make an impact in the month of October. Judge has done more than that for the Yankees thus far in Game 3, as they look to pull within a game of the Astros.
While the leaping catch was sweet, he helped his team even more by putting three runs of his own up on the board. Against a team that can score in a hurry like the Astros, getting every run is an absolute must.
