Colts at Titans: Preview, prediction, odds and pick
By John Buhler
The Tennessee Titans will host the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football in Week 6. Here is a game preview, the betting odds and a score prediction.
We’ve got one more game on the slate for Week 6 of the 2017 NFL season. That game would be Monday Night Football. This week, it will be between a pair of AFC South rivals in the Indianapolis Colts (2-3) and the Tennessee Titans (2-3).
Kickoff from Nissan Stadium in Nashville will be at 8:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 16. ESPN will have the telecast with Sean McDonough and Jon Gruden in the booth to call the nationally televised football event.
Both teams are 2-3 on the year and a game back of the Jacksonville Jaguars in AFC South play. Indianapolis has wins over the Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers. The Colts have losses to the Los Angeles Rams, the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks.
Tennessee has wins over the Jaguars and the Seahawks. The Titans have losses to the Oakland Raiders, the Houston Texans and the Miami Dolphins. One of these teams will be back at .500, while the other stumbles to 2-4. Who comes out on top this week in Nashville?

SportsBook Review does not have a line out for this game. This is because we are not sure just yet who will be starting at quarterback for either team.
Andrew Luck could make his season debut versus the Titans for the Colts. Otherwise, it will be Jacoby Brissett for a fifth straight week for Indianapolis. The Titans are in a similar dilemma. Will Marcus Mariota be able to play for Tennessee? If not, well, then it’s Matt Cassel for a second straight week for the Titans.
This is a hard one to figure out given the quarterback situation. We have to give the Colts the upper hand in this one, as Luck is a more proven commodity than Mariota and Brissett is certainly better than what we’ve seen out of Cassel so far this season.
Tennessee might be playing at home and have a solid ground game, but the Colts will find a way to make plays at the quarterback position, so long as Scott Tolzien is not trying to make those plays.

This one will be close, but the Colts will prevail to 3-3, while the Titans find themselves losing their season at 2-4. Indianapolis could be tied for first place depending on how the Jaguars and the Rams’ game plays out on Sunday afternoon in Jacksonville.
Prediction: Colts 24, Titans 18
