Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater cleared to practice
Minnesota Vikings fans can rejoice after quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was cleared to return to practice.
The Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback issues have been crazy over the past year. It all began when starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater tore his ACL and dislocated his knee during a non-contact practice back in August 2016. Many assumed it was a career-ending injury to a young, impressive career for the Vikings quarterback.
After playing quarterback carousel, the ride may finally be over in three weeks. Bridgewater has been cleared to practice according to Chris Mortensen. After news of Bridgewater being cleared, Ian Rapoport had a bigger update.

The Vikings have dealt with even more quarterback issues while Bridgewater was hurt. They traded their 2017 first-round pick and 2018 fourth-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for Sam Bradford, who has dealt with a knee injury this season, giving the job to Case Keenum.
Now with the news of their former starting quarterback returning soon, the Vikings season is very much alive. While their star rookie running back Dalvin Cook tore his ACL, the Vikings have been still been able to win games without him and Bridgewater returning is the best news this team could hear.
Bridgewater brings back mobility to the quarterback position. Now Bridgewater won’t rush for 1,000 yards, he can still lead teams to have a spy on him, leaving one less defender to stop the play.

The Vikings are already 4-2 without Bridgewater, this is the best possible record they could have for him as he returns. If Bridgewater returns this week, it would be home against the Baltimore Ravens. If he returns next week, he will debut this season in London against the Cleveland Browns.
The Ravens just lost to the Chicago Bears in overtime and the Browns are 0-6 and are looking like the same old Browns. With Aaron Rodgers possibly out for the season, the Packers could be out of the race in the NFC North. The Detroit Lions are dealing with multiple injuries and have fallen down to 3-3 after starting the season 2-0. The Chicago Bears seem to have some life with Mitchell Trubisky at quarterback.
