Right-backs Lukasz Piszczek, Erik Durm, and left-backs Raphaël Guerreiro and Marcel Schmelzer are out with injuries. Peter Bosz elected to start Dan-Axel Zagadou and Jeremy Toljan at full-back against Leipzig and their inexperience could hurt them in Champions League games.
Apoel have gotten off to a slow start in the Cypriot First Division, picking up seven points in their first four games. Igor de Camargo leads the club with six goals in all competitions. De Camargo played in the Bundesliga from 2010 until 2013 and his experience against playing against Dortmund could be an advantage.
