Teddy Bridgewater has not taken a snap in an NFL game since the 2015 season, but all signs point to him being back under center in the near future.
When he was healthy, Teddy Bridgewater was considered one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. However, after blowing out his knee last Summer, Bridgewater has been trying to get back on the field, and that is close to becoming a reality. The Minnesota Vikings will take him off the PUP list, as he was cleared to practice on Monday. He is not ready to play in games yet, but this is a really good sign.
Staying with the quarterbacks of the NFC North, it looks like Aaron Rodgers is likely out for the season. The Pro Bowler broke his collarbone in the Green Bay Packers loss to the Vikings on Sunday, and the team will now have to roll with Brett Hundley under center. Despite Hundley having hardly any experience, the team plans to let him start, and will not be bringing in a veteran to challenge for the starting job.
Emmanuel Sanders hurt his ankle during the Denver Broncos loss to the New York Giants on Sunday night, and it looks like it is going to take some time to heal. Sanders has already been ruled out of the Broncos AFC West clash with the Los Angeles Chargers this weekend, leaving a big hole in the Denver passing game. The Broncos looked good coming into the Giants game but were waxed by an injured New York team in front of their home fans.
It looks like former San Francisco 49ers star linebacker NaVorro Bowman won’t have to go far in joining his new team. Bowman will stay in the Bay Area, as he signed with the Oakland Raiders on Monday. Oakland has struggled to stop the run this season, and while Bowman may not be the player he once was, he instantly upgrades the linebacker position for the Silver and Black.

The Arizona Cardinals played host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6, and boy did they get a solid effort out of their veterans. Running back Adrian Peterson, making his first start with the team since being traded over by the New Orleans Saints, rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Carson Palmer also had a day, throwing for nearly 300 yards and three scores, while Larry Fitzgerald was on the receiving end of ten of those completions, for 138 yards and a touchdown. The Cardinals won the game 38-33.
