Chelsea face Roma at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, Oct. 18. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Roma travel to Stamford Bridge Wednesday to take on the leaders of Group C, Chelsea, in a pivotal matchup for the Italian side. They currently sit second in the group on four points, while Chelsea are in first place on six points. Roma were considered to be the third best team in this group coming into matchplay, behind Chelsea and Atletico Madrid. After drawing in their first matchup with Atletico, Roma have a real chance to put themselves in good qualifying shape in their next two games against Chelsea.

Chelsea are in a difficult situation coming into this game. They’re coming off a league loss to the worst team in England, and are without first-teamers Victor Moses and N’Golo Kante. Without Kante in their midfield the Blues looked lost last weekend, and should they wish for a positive result against Roma the midfield production will have to change drastically. The Blues may get good news with Alvaro Morata returning from injury.

Roma currently sit fifth in Serie A, having only managed to score 14 goals so far in league play. Their offensive production isn’t great, in order for a positive result in London they’ll need their tied for best Serie A defensive core to step up. To make matters more difficult, they’re looking to be without key defender Kostas Manolas.
