EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - SEPTEMBER 18: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie

In Week 6 of the NFL season, the New York Giants suspended Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, but the team reinstated him on Tuesday.

The New York  Giants won a surprising game in Week 6 of the NFL season, and they did it without one of their star defensive backs. The Giants suspended Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie for the Denver Broncos game, and there was no word as to when he would be allowed back. Well, word came on Tuesday, when the team reinstated him, and the plan is for him to be ready for the team’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks at home.

Staying with the NFC East, it looks like the Philadelphia Eagles will have their starting left tackle back for their game against the Washington Redskins on Monday night. Lane Johnson has cleared concussion protocol and will be back in time for the biggest game of the Eagles season to date. Philadelphia is currently the only one-loss team in the NFC, and all signs point to them being a serious contender in the conference for the rest of the season.

Luke Kuechly has struggled with head injuries throughout his career, and on Tuesday, the team held him out of practice because of it. Kuechly suffered a bad-looking injury against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night and is still in the concussion protocol. He was at practice with his teammates in pads on Tuesday but was held out of any drills. The team hopes to have him back for their game against the Chicago Bears this weekend.

It appears Jason Myers’ days as the Jacksonville Jaguars kicker are over. Myers missed two field goals in the team’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams at home this past weekend and will be replaced by Josh Lambo moving forward. Lambo will get his first chance to lock up the job this coming weekend, when the Jaguars take on the Colts in a big AFC South matchup in Indy.

It looks like the Ezekiel Elliott saga will continue, as he filed an injunction request in New York on Tuesday. Elliott was handed a six-game suspension by the NFL this summer and is doing everything he can to fight it. In the report, it alleges Elliott was violent to his ex-girlfriend Tiffany Thompson on three occasions this summer, and the NFL is very strict with their Domestic Violence Policy.
