By John Buhler
The Sacramento Kings will host the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night. Here is how to watch this Western Conference NBA game online via live streaming.
The NBA is back and we’ve got some great games on the slate on Wednesday night. One of the 20 teams that will be making its 2017-18 NBA season debut will be the Sacramento Kings. They will host the Houston Rockets, who defeated the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.
Tipoff from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento will be at 10:00 p.m. ET on Oct. 18. AT&T SportsNet Southwest will carry the Rockets telecast in the Greater Houston area. NBC Sports California will have the Kings telecast in the Greater Sacramento area. The available live streams can be found on NBA League Pass and on FuboTV.
Houston is coming off its first of the season, a win over the Warriors. It might have been a preview of the 2018 Western Conference Finals, as Golden State and Houston are seen as two of the top four teams in the West this year.
Adding former Los Angeles Clippers point guard James Harden into the fold might be what gets Houston back into the NBA Finals for the first time since Hakeem Olajuwon was their star player in the 1990s.
Sacramento has added a few veteran players like Vince Carter, George Hill and Zach Randolph into the mix. The Kings drafted well and got a potential franchise point guard in rookie De’Aaron Fox at No. 5. Sacramento may not be one of the worst teams in the West this year, but it is still a few years away from being a serious playoff threat.

Sacramento getting eight points against a Rockets team playing on a back-to-back tells you everything you need to know about this game. Fox will be making his NBA debut against Paul at the point. He might be a great player one day, but that’s a brutal matchup at the one for the Kings. Let’s hope Hill can help the young kid out. We’ll have to see how this one turns out.
