The Oakland Raiders will play host to the Kansas City Chiefs to kick off Week 7. Here is a game preview, the betting odds and a final score prediction.

In a classic AFC West matchup on Thursday night, the Kansas City Chiefs will travel West to take on the Oakland Raiders at O.co Stadium. Both teams are coming off losses in Week 6, but for Oakland, it was their fourth straight, while the Chiefs suffered their first loss of the season. Anytime these two teams get together, it is certain to be a good one, so buckle up on Thursday night.

Kickoff will be at 8:25 p.m. ET on Oct. 19. CBS and the NFL Network will have the telecast. In the booth to call the game for CBS will be Jim Nantz and Tony Romo. The available live streams for this game can be found on Amazon, NFL.com and on FuboTV.

Last season, these two teams battled it out to the wire to see who would win the AFC West, while also securing the No. 2 seed in the AFC. The Chiefs have dominated the division over the last couple of season, and the Raiders would like nothing more than to get on the winning track against a hated rival. Oakland has struggled to play consistent football all season long, but maybe the Chiefs coming to town is just what they need to get it together.

Betting Odds

Point Spread: Kansas City -3.0
Moneylines: Kansas City -155, Oakland +135
Over/Under: 47.0

According to SportsBook Review, Oakland will actually be getting three points at home from the Chiefs. The associated moneylines for this game are Kansas City -155 and Oakland +135. This game’s over/under comes in at a combined 47.0 points.

While having hardly any time to prepare will be tough for these two teams, there will certainly be a ton of intensity in this matchup. Carr was able to come back very soon from his fractured back, and it may have been hindering him a bit in the team’s loss to Los Angeles. Kansas City is going to come after him hard, as they know a Carr-less Raiders team will be no match against their elite defense.

The loss to Pittsburgh was a bad one, as it was a rematch of their Divisional Round game last season. Still, this Chiefs team has a lot of pride and may be the most complete team on both sides of the ball in the AFC. If they can stop Carr from moving the ball, especially on third down, this one could get ugly inside the Oakland Coliseum on Thursday night.

This will be a good one, but incredibly, the Raiders will lose their fifth straight game of the season. Last season, the Raiders lost four games total, so you can see how far this team has fallen. With a loss, the Raiders will all but be forgotten when it comes to playoff talk, and at 6-1, the Chiefs will firmly be planted as the No. 1 seed in the AFC heading to Week 8.
