These are the five best games of the week that the true die-hard college football fans will be watching this weekend, including USC vs. Notre Dame.

So about last week. A funny thing happened when we least expected it. Last week didn’t feature any games pitting ranked opponents against each other. It was assumed to be a relatively quiet weekend of college football. It was anything but. There was madness before we even got to Saturday after then-No. 2 Clemson lost at Syracuse. Then, it was then-No. 8 Washington State losing to Cal as a pair of top-10 teams were upset by double-digit underdogs before the real madness could begin on Saturday.

The upsets continued on Saturday with No. 10 Auburn blowing a 20-point second-quarter lead against LSU to suffer their second loss of the year. Pac-12 after dark gave us a shocking upset as well as Arizona State handed then-No. 5 Washington their first loss of the year. In total, four top-10 teams lost, and at least three of them were completely stunning. That’s what makes college football so exciting and fun to watch from the fan perspective.

Could the same happen again this week? There are a couple games with ranked teams, so we’re guaranteed more ranked teams will fall. And then there’s always the possibility of more shocking upsets occurring. You’ll want to make sure you’re in front of a TV set on Friday, or at the very least, your phone or mobile device.
