NFL Week 7: Picks, predictions and more
Dallas Cowboys (-6) at San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers (0-6) have been in almost every game this season, they just can’t close the deal. I expect more of the same against the Cowboys (2-3) who are going off their bye with a season to save come Sunday.
Pick: Dallas 24, San Francisco 20
Seattle Seahawks (-5.5) at New York Giants
The Seahawks (3-2) are also coming off their bye and get a Giants (1-5) team without a single recognizable skill position player. New York was able to stun the Broncos, but don’t expect that type of magic to strike twice.
Pick: Seattle 19, New York 9
Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers (EVEN)
The Broncos (3-2) have absolutely no offense, and that was before Emmanuel Sanders got hurt. This team has to win by scoring 13 points and clinging for dear life. The Chargers (2-4) have won two road games to get back in the playoff mixer, and they keep it going here.
Pick: Los Angeles 21, Denver 16
Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers (-5.5)
This game screams upset. The Bengals (2-3) are playing better and coming off a bye. The Steelers (4-2) just beat the previously unbeaten Chiefs and look like they figured it out. This is always when Mike Tomlin teams have some asinine loss. I think it comes really, really close to happening.
Pick: Pittsburgh 24, Cincinnati 21
Atlanta Falcons at New England Patriots (-3)
I’m taking the Falcons (3-2) to win, mostly because the Patriots (4-2) have one of the worst defenses of all-time. If Tom Brady can win the game by himself, then great, but that’s the only way it happens for the Patriots on this night. The Falcons have a ton of weapons, and at some point, they finish off a game.
Pick: Atlanta 33, New England 31
Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles (-4.5)
Both of these teams are solid, but the Eagles (5-1) are simply better. The Redskins (3-2) could pull off the upset with the right bounces, but that’s tough to bank on.
Pick: Philadelphia 26, Washington 23
Last Week: 6-8
Overall: 50-41
