After experimenting with Kevin Hogan as their starting quarterback, the Cleveland Browns will start DeShone Kizer in Week 7 of the NFL slate Sunday.
In Week 7 of the NFL season, the Cleveland Browns will go back to DeShone Kizer as their starting quarterback. Head coach Hue Jackson made the move to Kevin Hogan in Week 6, and he played terribly, forcing Jackson’s hand to move back to the rookie. Hogan played so bad that the team demoted him to third-string, promoting Cody Kessler to the backup role for the team’s game against Tennessee this weekend.
Chris Long is a fantastic football player, but he is an even better human being. During the beginning of the season, Long said he would donate part of his salary to an education initiative, but he took it a step further on Wednesday. Long will now donate all of his 16 game checks to the initiative, proving to all that there is good in the world, and not only the bad should be news when it comes to the NFL.
Jonathan Allen was the first-round pick of the Washington Redskins, and he was really a steal getting selected towards the middle of the round. On Wednesday, it was announced that Allen would be out for the rest of the regular season, having to have surgery on his foot. Allen was a top defensive lineman during his time with Alabama in college, and should still have a very productive NFL career once he gets healthy.
Leonard Fournette is another rookie whose team is depending on them having a long NFL career, and he is off to a fast start to his career. However, Fournette is currently dealing with an ankle injury, and he was held out of practice this week. The Jags will hit the road to take on the Indianapolis Colts in an AFC South battle, and they would like nothing more than to have their stud running back in the fold.

Finally, the Thursday Night Football should be a good one inside the Oakland Coliseum to kick off Week 7. The first-place Kansas City Chiefs will visit the Oakland Raiders in a game that could have major playoff implications for the Silver and Black. Oakland has lost four straight, and with a loss on Thursday night, they will officially have more losses than they had all of last season.
