The Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers matchup in Philly on Friday October 20th and you won’t want to miss it. Here’s how to watch.

The Process looks to be nearly complete as the revamped Philadelphia Sixers look to put together a winning season for the first time since 2012. Joel Embiid and the rest of the squad will take on Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics on Friday night. Embiid is still on a minutes restriction due to injury, but he sure looks great when he’s on the court. Couple him with rookies Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz, alongside veterans JJ Redick, Amir Johnson, and Robert Covington and the Sixers have quite a squad.

Boston looked to be one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference coming into the season, but losing Gordon Hayward to a season-ending injury just a few minutes into their opener turned their assured success into a big question mark for the rest of the year. Kyrie Irving wanted his own team, and now he’s got it. The Celtics will rely on Irving’s scoring and trademark late-game heroics to get them some wins with a depleted roster. Coach Brad Stevens always has his guys playing their best and their hardest, so despite the loss f their star, the Celtics will always be hard to beat.

Both teams are very young, relying on contributions from new and exciting players as large parts of their rotation. Embiid has only played 32 games for Philly since being drafted in 2014. Ben Simmons played his first game for the Sixers on Wednesday after missing all of last season with an injury. And number one pick Markelle Fultz made his debut Wednesday as well. For the Celtics, they’re relying heavily on young players Jaylen Brown and Jason Tatum who have looked good in their first two games of the season. Brown has carried a large part of the scoring load so far this

season.
