The Indianapolis Colts will play their division rival in the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday afternoon. Here is a game preview, the betting odds and a pick.

Week 7 of the 2017 NFL should be a good one. There will be 15 games on tap this week for your enjoyment. One of those games will be between AFC South rivals in the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3) and the Indianapolis Colts (2-4).

Kickoff from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis will be at 1:00 p.m. ET on Oct. 22. CBS will have the early afternoon telecast. In the booth for CBS will be Tom McCarthy, Steve Beuerlein and Steve Tasker. The available live streams for this game can be found on NFL.com and on FuboTV.

Jacksonville is in a three-way tie for first place in the division at 3-3. The Jaguars hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Houston Texans, but the Tennessee Titans have the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Jaguars. Jacksonville has won games on odd-numbered Weeks (1, 3, 5), but suffered defeats on even-numbered ones (2, 4, 6). So what gives?

Indianapolis is a game back of all three of its division rivals. The Colts are 2-4 with wins over two teams that haven’t won yet in the Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers. Indianapolis will be without starting quarterback Andrew Luck for who knows how long. This could already be a lost year for the Indianapolis professional football franchise.

Betting Odds

Point Spread: Indianapolis +3
Moneylines: Jacksonville -175, Indianapolis +155
Over/Under: 44

According to SportsBook Review, the Colts will be getting three points at home from the visiting Jaguars. The associated moneylines for this gamer are Jacksonville -175 and Indianapolis +155. This game’s over/under comes in at a combined 44 points.

Jacksonville should be getting points in this game, as the Jaguars are actually stellar on one side of the football. The Jaguars will be able to push around the Colts with their impeccable pass defense. Run defense is still a work in progress in North Florida, but the Jaguars look to be a playoff contender in the AFC South through the first six weeks of the season.

Indianapolis will pick off the occasional pass, so Jacksonville needs to devise a game plan that limits quarterback Blake Bortles’ proclivity for the illy timed interception. Jacksonville has the pass defense to put the Colts passing game in place. Jacoby Brissett has shown signs of promise, but this could be his worst game of the season.

Look for Jacksonville to pound the rock religiously with Leonard Fournette and company. The Jaguars will need a defensive touchdown to take this game from the Colts, but they will get it. Calais Campbell will be the hero in this game with a strip sack in the end zone to win it.

Jacksonville wins and covers the three-point spread to get to 4-3 on the year. That defensive touchdown does just enough to get this game over the 44-point threshold.

Prediction: Jacksonville 27, Indianapolis 21
