The Jaguars will be able to push around the Colts with their impeccable pass defense. Run defense is still a work in progress in North Florida, but the Jaguars look to be a playoff contender in the AFC South through the first six weeks of the season.
Indianapolis will pick off the occasional pass, so Jacksonville needs to devise a game plan that limits quarterback Blake Bortles’ proclivity for the illy timed interception. Jacksonville has the pass defense to put the Colts passing game in place. Jacoby Brissett has shown signs of promise, but this could be his worst game of the season.
Look for Jacksonville to pound the rock religiously with Leonard Fournette and company. The Jaguars will need a defensive touchdown to take this game from the Colts, but they will get it. Calais Campbell will be the hero in this game with a strip sack in the end zone to win it.
