Report: Nia Jax set to return to WWE in November
Earlier this week, word got out that WWE superstar Nia Jax took a leave of absence. Dave Meltzer says that Jax will come back before WWE’s European Tour in November.
Nia Jax’s recent absence from WWE has sprouted many theories across the board. Some have suggested she’d walked out, while others have theorized she was fed up with her treatment. Then there are people like Alexa Bliss, who say she just needed time away.
Whatever the case, it looks like the menacing superstar in the RAW women’s division will be back next month. So says Dave Meltzer, who reported Friday morning that she’d return in time for WWE’s European tour in November.
"Jax has a few weeks off, until the European tour. You can call it a leave of absence, although she and WWE are both denying that, but that’s a vague terminology and it could be called that."
Meltzer also says that Jax did not abruptly walk out of RAW, as others have speculated that she did.
It’s easy to see why frustration could be settling in for Nia. She was side-by-side with Alexa in her title feud with Mickie James. Of course, one could argue that Jax should be contending for that title, and not just being Bliss’ sidekick. They had teased tension between the two prior to the five-way at No Mercy. That was never followed up. Jax abruptly went back to tagging along with Bliss for reasons unknown to everyone.

Her booking, in general, has been questionable, to say the least. For a monster type, she hasn’t exactly inflicted as much damage as she could be doing.
Whatever the case for Nia, hopefully she clears her head and gets back in the saddle. There’s still plenty of untapped potential there, and an opportunity like that should not go to waste.
