The Washington Wizards will host the Detroit Pistons on Friday night. Here is how to watch this Eastern Conference NBA game online via live streaming.

The NBA is back. There will be 10 games on tap for your enjoyment on Friday night. One of those games will be between a pair of Eastern Conference teams in the Detroit Pistons (0-1) and the Washington Wizards (1-0).

Tipoff from the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. will be at 7:00 p.m. ET on Oct. 20. FOX Sports Detroit Plus will carry the Pistons telecast in the Greater Detroit area. NBC Sports Washington will have the Wizards telecast in the Greater Washington area. The available live streams for this game can be found on NBA League Pass and on FuboTV.

Detroit lost its home opener at brand-new Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit. The Pistons couldn’t get it done on Wednesday night at home, falling to the Charlotte Hornets, 102-90. Detroit will be one of a few teams that will be in contention for the final playoff spots in the Eastern Conference this year. The Pistons feel like they will fall in that No. 6 seed to 10th place range this season.

Washington won its home opener versus the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night, 120-115. Philadelphia put up a fight, but Washington is still probably one of the better teams in the East this year. The Wizards are the favorites to win the Southeast Division. With the Gordon Hayward injury for the Boston Celtics, maybe Washington emerges as the biggest threat to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference?

According to SportsBook Review, the Wizards will be laying six points at home to the visiting Pistons. The associated moneylines for this game are Washington -240 and Detroit +200. This game’s over/under comes in at a combined 211 points.

Washington should be favored over the Pistons in this game. Perhaps the line is a tad too low than it should be? Washington could definitely win this game by more than two possessions. The Wizards have arguably the best backcourt in the Eastern Conference in point guard John Wall and Bradley Beal.

Detroit does have some interesting defensive players in recently acquired wing Avery Bradley, as well as center Andre Drummond in the low post to block shots. The Pistons could make this one interesting, but swallowing the six points and going with the Wizards is probably the best play for this game.
