It’s already Week 8 of the 2017 college football season. One game that will be going on Saturday afternoon between a pair of Pac-12 South rivals will be between the Arizona State Sun Devils (3-3) and the Utah Utes (4-2).

Arizona State enters play at 3-3 (2-1) on the season. The Sun Devils are 2-1 in Pac-12 play. They have conference wins over the Oregon Ducks and the Washington Huskies. Their lone Pac-12 loss was to the Stanford Cardinal. However, they do have two losses in non-conference play to the San Diego State Aztecs and the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Utah enters play at 4-2 (1-2) on the year. The Utes have dropped two games in a row to fall to 1-2 in Pac-12 play. Utah has a conference win over the division rival Arizona Wildcats, but has losses to Stanford and to the division rival USC Trojans.
