With Week 8 of the college football season in the books, we take a look at what a projected College Football Playoff lineup would look like.
The college football season is rolling along, and for the top two teams in the country, they did just that as well on Saturday. Both Penn State and Alabama won their conference matchups, and as it sits, they would definitely be included in the College Football Playoff. Alabama lost in the title game last season, and are playing like a team looking for another shot at revenge.
In other top action, TCU continued their undefeated season with a blowout win against Kansas. Wisconsin rolled to 7-0 with their masterful win against Maryland, and it is fully expected they win the Big Ten West Division once again in 2017. Notre Dame made quick work of USC in their rivalry game, and look like a real contender this season.
One week after beating Clemson, the Syracuse Orange had an opportunity to send another team from the ranks of the unbeaten. However, the Miami Hurricanes were able to take care of business at home without standout running back Mark Walton, and will likely find themselves in the ACC title game if they continue to play this way. In Big 12 action, both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State squeaked by with one-score victories.
As we focus our attention on Week 9 of the college football season, we see a huge road matchup for undefeated Penn State at Ohio State. Notre Dame will play host to NC State, who has been better than expected this season. With that said, let’s take a look at what a College Football Playoff would look like if the season ended tomorrow.
