There’s a good chance that the UCF Knights are the best team that no one is talking about. They enter Week 8 of the college football season as one of the few remaining undefeated teams. However, they’ve also not been tested by high-quality teams that often to this point. That will change as they go on the road to face the Navy Midshipmen.
Scott Frost has done a phenomenal job with this UCF team, which is led by quarterback McKenzie Milton. He’s been one of the most prolific passers in the country to this point, and doesn’t appear to be showing any signs of letting up. If he stays on track, this offense is lethal. However, it’s their defense that will need to be on point on Saturday.
When it comes to Navy, you know you’re going to be hit with the triple option. Quarterback Zach Abey is one of the leading rushers in the nation and for good reason. He’s dynamic and dangerous and, if the Knights are to hope to earn a big win, they’ll have to stifle him on the run.
