The 2017 NFL season has already seen six weeks pass, and one thing has remained exactly the same week in and week out: the San Francisco 49ers are winless. Now, they’ll look to change that when the Dallas Cowboys come to town on Sunday afternoon in Week 7.
One unique element to this whole game comes after a tumultuous week off of the field for one of the stars on the Cowboys: Ezekiel Elliott. The Cowboys running back had a suspension originally put back in place and then put back on a restraining order within a week to let him play again for this game. His play will be an interesting storyline to follow after a stressful week off the field during the bye.
For the 49ers, they’ll have to figure out how to stop Elliott, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense, while actually managing to have a good game on both sides of the football. The Cowboys have struggled in 2017, and it wouldn’t be all too surprising to see the 49ers potentially pull off the upset.
