5. CJ Prosise, Seattle

Role: Bye week filler with potential for Flex appeal

Much like Booker, Prosise is one of the only guys with a more or less surefire role on this list. Even before Chris Carson went down with a broken leg for the Seahawks, Prosise was catching passes from Russell Wilson as Seattle’s third down back. Before he went down with an injury in week 3, Prosise had tallied three catches for 65 yards and four rushes for nine yards.

Prosise’s impact will be largely dependent on game situation, most likely. The Seahawks’ offensive line is awful, though, and so Seattle may look to hit the air even in non-third-down situations on occasion.

His matchup this week isn’t bad, either — despite a strangely staunch showing in their win against Denver last weekend, the Giants have been kind to opposing running backs so far this season. New York has given up over 100 rush yards in all but two games this season, and one of the two they gave up 99 yards.

Even if they are stingy against the run this week, as mentioned in the last slide, they gave up four receptions for 78 yards to Booker a week ago. Prosise feels like a good play all around this week, and maybe a guy you let stick around for a while.
