Tottenham and Liverpool face off in what should be a wildly entertaining game at Wembley on Sunday. Spurs are coming off one of the best matches in the club’s recent history, a 1-1 draw at Real Madrid. They’ve won seven of their last nine in all competitions, and have been playing more cohesive football as the season has aged. Liverpool are coming off of a lackluster 0-0 draw with Manchester United and a 7-0 thrashing of NK Maribor in the Champions League midweek.

The Reds are more than capable of getting a result against Spurs. Last year in the league they beat Tottenham at home and drew with them on the road. Despite ups and downs so far this season in the Premier League, the Reds have the talent to grab three points in Wembley should their offensive masterminds show up. Life will be tough without Sadio Mané, but Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino can make life difficult for Spurs tough defense.
Tottenham simply need to play the same cohesive style of calm defending and simple attacking they did in Madrid on Tuesday. If they do that against Liverpool, three points is just 90 minutes away.
