With Survivor Series looming, the WWE SmackDown Live crew invaded RAW on Monday night and sent a stern message.

It’s WWE Survivor Series season, which means RAW and SmackDown Live are obligated to detest one another. Just like last year, we’re getting a traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match at the event, and Monday night during RAW, General Manager Kurt Angle was set to announce the representatives of his brand.

Well, that announcement never came. Earlier in the evening, we saw Shane McMahon make an appearance during a backstage segment with his old nemesis Angle, and little did we know, that would not be the last time we’d see Shane-O-Mac. Just as Angle was ready to make his announcement, Shane came through the crowd — Shield style — and he was not alone. No, with him was basically the entire SmackDown Live roster, and they were there for a purpose.

That purpose was to terrorize RAW to end the show.

I mean, they went full hostage situation here with this segment, making it look like a true takeover.

After the beatdowns, Shane had them bring Kurt to the ring where he told Angle to be ready for what’s to come at Survivor Series. The commissioner of SmackDown Live rounded up his troops and headed back through the crowd to end the wild segment and the show altogether.

So, it’s Shane and SmackDown Live that delivered the first blow, so of course, it’ll be interesting to see if/how the RAW crew will respond on Tuesday night. There has to be some sort of payback coming, so there’s a very good chance we see some red brand representatives on the blue brand show this week to get some revenge.
