A meta with bad luck powers sounds like the kind of threat that could be a big problem for the science-minded members of Team Flash.
Obi-Wan once memorably opined that there was no such thing as luck, but a brand new villain on The Flash is about to put that assertion to the test.
Her name is Becky, and she can apparently cause bad things to happen to people, or at least unfortunate ones. If you know of the old Justice League villain Amos Fortune, she’s kind of the opposite.
But Hazard, as she’s probably going to be named by Cisco Ramon, is also a bona fide comic book villain from the Infinity Inc. series. We’ll see if her characterization there shows up on TV.
Speaking of Earth-2, which is where Infinity Inc. fought crime, a friend from Earth-2 will be dropping by S.T.A.R. Labs this week as well. Check out the official synopsis for “Luck Be a Lady,” courtesy of ComingSoon.net:

If you’ve been watching season 4 so far, you know that the Thinker has been behind everyone going up against Team Flash so far. The heroes just don’t know it yet, but the prominence of Clifford DeVoe in pictures The CW has released for “Luck Be a Lady” gives one the feeling that might change this week. At the very least, it will be interesting to see if he’s behind Hazard too.
