Monday’s episode of ABC‘s The Good Doctor is going to shine some further light on the history and personal life of Dr. Shaun Murphy. So if you want to know what makes him so good, and how he got here, this is the episode you don’t want to miss.
Season 1, episode 5 is called “Point Three Percent” and gets off to an uncomfortable start when Shaun (Freddie Highmore) sees a patient who bears a strong resemblance to his brother, Steve. As Shaun gets to know the patient, details also come out about his own personal life, and so in taking this case he may not only be helping someone else—he’s also helping himself.
Elsewhere, The Good Doctor season 1 tells a story about allergic reactions that are so severe, they are killing patients. Uh-oh.
