The Los Angeles Dodgers made quick work of the postseason, taking the National League Division Series from the Arizona Diamondbacks in a three-game sweep. Los Angeles claimed the National League pennant with a 4-1 win over the Cubs in the NLCS. The Dodgers come into the World Series with more rest than their opponents, and that might give them an edge.
After a thrilling victory over the Yankees, the Houston Astros arrive at the World Series ready to take on the Dodgers. The Astros took the American League Division Series 3-1 over the Boston Red Sox. The Astros went seven games against the Yankees before pulling off a decisive victory in Game 7.
