The 2017-18 NBA season has arrived. We are in the second week of the NBA season. There will be six games on tap for Tuesday night. One of those games happening between Western Conference opponents will feature the New Orleans Pelicans (1-2) and the Portland Trail Blazers (2-1).

Portland enters play at 2-1 on the year. The Trail Blazers won their first two games of the season over the Phoenix Suns and the Indiana Pacers. However, they dropped their most recent game to the Milwaukee Bucks by three points. Portland has shown it can beat bad teams, but it remains to be seen how they can hang with other playoff-caliber basketball clubs.
