WWE Survivor Series 2017: Updated match card, rumors, date and start time

A look at how the official WWE Survivor Series card is shaping up prior to the event on Nov. 19 in Houston.

With the Raw-brand WWE TLC pay-per-view out of the way now following the action on Sunday, the month of November is fast approaching. Of course, a November staple for years now for the company has been the annual Survivor Series event, one of the “Big 4” PPVs WWE puts on throughout the year.

This year, Survivor Series will be taking place on Nov. 19 in Houston, Texas from the Toyota Center. As with all of the “Big 4” shows WWE put on, Survivor Series will have a bit of a longer running time, with the Kickoff Show getting started at 6 p.m. ET and the main show beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

While the show is a few weeks away, it’s never too early to learn all the information you need to know about watching the 2017 edition of Survivor Series, and below is all the information you will need.

How to watch WWE Survivor Series 2017

It really didn’t take WWE all that long to begin announcing some matches as well. The night after the TLC PPV on Sunday, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle kicked off Monday’s show by immediately announcing that once again Survivor Series will carry the theme of Raw. vs. SmackDown Live.

Then, some pretty enticing matchups were announced, headlined by the company’s two world champions facing off with one another.

  • WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. WWE Champion AJ Styles
  • Team Raw (Kurt Angle, Triple H, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman) vs. Team SmackDown (Shane McMahon, John Cena, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura)
  • Team Raw (Alicia Fox, Nia Jax, Asuka, Sasha Banks and Bayley) vs. Team SmackDown (Becky Lynch, Naomi, Carmella, Tamina and TBD)
  • Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs. Smackdown Live Women’s Champion Charlotte
  • Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. United States Champion Baron Corbin
  • Raw Tag Team Champions Sheamus & Cesaro vs. Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions The Usos
  • The Shield vs. The New Day

In addition to the matches that were officially made which are listed above, there will also be two traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination matches on the card, one for the men and one for the women. However, the participants for those have yet to be announced, as Angle was interrupted prior to revealing the superstars involved by the Smackdown Live invasion attack that took place to close Monday’s show.
