Chievo face AC Milan at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi on Wednesday, Oct. 25. Here’s all the info you need to watch. 

After nine games, Chievo are seventh in the league table, two points ahead of 11th place AC Milan. After a summer of expensive signings, the pressure is on for AC Milan and Vincenzo Montella’s job could be on the line if his team continues to drop points.

Chievo picked up all three points in the Verona derby, defeating Hellas Verona 3-2. Striker Roberto Inglese scored twice for Chievo, bringing his total to four goals. Napoli signed Inglese over the summer but immediately loaned him back to Chievo. Chievo’s midfield of Lucas Castro, Valter Birsa, and Perparim Hetemaj have played well to start the season. The trio has combined for four goals and eight assists.

AC Milan had to settle for a scoreless draw with Geona after Leonardo Bonucci picked up a straight red card in the 25th minute. Bonucci has struggled in his first season with Milan and will now miss the club’s next two games, serving a red card suspension. Milan spent almost €200 million. during the summer and are not getting a good return on investment from their expensive players. Striker Andre Silva has yet to score a Serie A goal, while Andrea Conti will miss the season with a knee injury. Hakan Calhanoglu and Ricardo Rodriguez have combined for one goal and an assist. Combined, Silva, Conti, Calhanoglu, and Rodriguez cost Milan €103 million.
