The Philadelphia Eagles are one of the best teams in the NFL this season, but they lost their starting left tackle for the season Monday night.
Carson Wentz has the Philadelphia Eagles with the best record in the NFL this season, as he has really become a star quarterback for the team in his second season. While the Eagles beat the Redskins on Monday night to move to 6-1 this season, they suffered a huge loss to their offensive line. Future Hall of Fame offensive tackle Jason Peters tore his ACL and MCL and is expected to miss the rest of the season.
DeShone Kizer was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, and his rookie season has been quite the roller coaster. First, Kizer won the starting job this summer, and the organization said they will stick with him through the ups and downs. Well, he has been benched repeatedly, and after learning his was out past midnight on Friday before their game on Sunday, he finds himself in hot water with the franchise.
Reggie Bush was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, and since then, he has carved out a pretty decent NFL career. Heading into the 2017 season, he was still looking for a team, and will likely retire if he does not latch on somewhere this season. Bush was the most explosive college football we had seen in a long time, and despite his numerous physical gifts, he never really lived up to the expectations at the NFL level.
The Oakland Raiders picked up a big win in Week 7, as they defeated the Kansas City Chiefs by erasing a nine-point fourth quarter deficit. However, due to Marshawn Lynch rushing the field after a cheap hit on quarterback Derek Carr, the running back will miss this week’s game against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills drafted Lynch in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft, so missing this game has got to be tough for him.

Another player who will miss the next game is Andrew Sedejo, who was served a one-game suspension this week. Sedejo laid a vicious hit on Baltimore Ravens wideout Mike Wallace this past Sunday, and the NFL came with the thunder on Monday. The safety will only miss one game, and luckily for the Vikings, they play the Cleveland Browns this Sunday.
