The Washington Wizards (3-0) continue their Western Conference road trip by heading to Los Angeles to face the Lakers (1-2). Here’s how to watch online.
Well, add John Wall to the list of tenacious point guards Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball will face in his first four games of his NBA career.
Wall isn’t the defender Pat Beverley is, but he’s twice the player offensively and just as aggressive. We won’t get Gang Sign John Wall tonight, but count on the camera picking up a few words mouthed to Ball. In Wall and Beverley’s defense, they do that to any opposing player, let along the player guarding them, but it’ll be a story with Ball.
The Wizards offense is humming, and it seems Kelly Oubre Jr. is evolving into a key player in their rotation. When Markieff Morris returns from sports hernia surgery, Oubre Jr. will be their best player coming off the bench. Any added depth to the Wiz is a good thing.
As for the Lakers, well, they’re what you should’ve expected. Ball has looked solid and comfortable in his new role. Like all rookies he’ll have his struggles, but he has been able to rack up some numbers in the early season. Brandon Ingram remains aggressive despite his issues finishing at the rim or making his jumpers. It’ll be another great experience for Ball, who will have faced two of the most brutish point guards in the league so soon. He was composed an in control against Beverley, so I wouldn’t expect anything less after facing Wall.

Sportsbook Review lists the Wizards as six-point favorites. The way their offense has been playing and the youth of the Lakers, who are 27th in turnovers, the Wizards should be able to cover that line easy.
