Dana Holgorsen

, West Virginia

It took a while, but West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen is finally turning around the Mountaineers for good in the Big 12. The transition into the Big 12 for football was not an easy one for West Virginia, but it’s a competitor year in and year out now.

The passion that Holgorsen has for this program can be seen on the sidelines of every game each week. Holgorsen is one of the most energetic and committed head coaches just from the body language he shows. His forehead vein also seems to pop out more than any other head coach in college football.

Part of the reason that Holgorsen is such an entertaining personality is that fans know that his teams will be great to watch on the field as well. After coming over from the Oklahoma State Cowboys, he’s had a big impact on the offense in Morgantown.

Each interview that Holgorsen does, whether it be a post-game or during the off-season, there’s going to be some highlights that are worth watching. He’ll bash himself or his team, if need be, without hesitation. Holgorsen knows that it takes to be successful in the Power Five ranks and he does whatever he can to get his players to reach that point.

When a player chooses to play for Holgorsen, they know that they have a coach that cares about them to the fullest extent, and that’s a big character trait for a head coach to have.
