2. NC State at Notre Dame – 3:30 p.m. – NBC

Notre Dame is annually one of the more overrated teams, but this year, the Fighting Irish may be one of the nation’s most underrated teams. Notre Dame was written off after a one-point loss to Georgia, but that was before we knew how good Georgia was, and before Notre Dame ripped off five straight wins, punctuated with a 49-14 win over rival USC. Josh Adams is a Heisman candidate and Brandon Wimbush is getting more comfortable every week in his first year as the starting quarterback. NC State has enjoyed a similar underdog story after losing to South Carolina in the season opener, The Wolfpack have won six straight games. Notre Dame needs a win to boost their playoff resume while the Pack needs a win to stay alive in the ACC conference chase with Clemson.

1. Penn State at Ohio State – 3:30 p.m. EST – FOX

This is one of the best games of the year so make sure you have your popcorn ready. Penn State beat Ohio State last year but it was the Buckeyes who went to the College Football Playoff so this is the odd game where both teams will be seeking revenge. If J.T. Barrett and Ohio State win, the Buckeyes would only have Michigan standing in their way of a Big Ten Championship Game appearance. If Saquon Barkley and Penn State win, the Nittany Lions will have effectively clinched the division with wins over Michigan and Ohio State.
