No. 11 Oklahoma State at No. 22 West Virginia

Kickoff: Saturday, Oct. 27, 12:00 PM, ABC

A Big-12 matchup to watch this week will be Oklahoma State-West Virginia. It may have taken overtime, but the Cowboys are coming off of a huge win against Texas, while West Virginia barely beat Baylor on the road.

The Mountaineers have dropped two games this year, while the Cowboys have lost one to No. 4 TCU.

Three Things to Watch

1. The battle of the opposing quarterbacks

It’s not often in College football that you get a matchup of two elite quarterbacks, but this Oklahoma State-West Virginia game is a good example.

Mason Rudolph has been lighting it up in OK State’s spread offense, while Will Grier has rejuvenated his career with the Mountaineers. They’ve both been stellar, featuring high TD to INT ratios, while throwing for over 2,400 yards apiece. It’s going be a battle of the signal callers when these two take the field on Saturday.

2. Can Oklahoma State protect Mason Rudolph this weekend?

One of the major issues coming out of the OK State-Texas game was the injuries along the offensive line for the Cowboys. They’ll need to be able to protect Rudolph in this game against West Virginia, who’s good at landing pressure in the backfield.

That’ll be the key to their offense, which has been an absolute scoring machine this season. If they can protect their signal caller, I like their chances in this game.

3. Which WR will have a bigger game?

James Washington and David Sills V have been dominant for their respective teams this season. Washington has over 900 yards and six touchdowns for the Cowboys, while Sills V has over 700 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Mountaineers.

Both will have a huge impact on Saturday for their squads, which player will come out helping their team will be exciting to watch.
