The 2017 NFL season has been a rough one for Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Martavis Bryant, who will not participate in Sunday night’s game.
Martavis Bryant sat out the 2016 NFL season due to some bad personal decisions. On Sunday, he will sit out once again, as he will be benched for running his mouth on social media all this week. The Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver is unhappy with his role in the team’s offense, where he has been leapfrogged by JuJu Smith-Schuster as the Steelers No. 2 wide receiver in the passing game.
Luke Kuechly has dealt with concussions his entire career, and it is starting to get a bit scary. The star linebacker was hit awkwardly during the team’s Thursday Night Football loss to the Philadelphia Eagles a few weeks back and is still recovering from the hit. He has finally cleared concussion protocol, and he is expect to play this weekend in a big NFC South matchup against Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Dontrelle Inman has a new home, as the Los Angeles Chargers traded him to the Chicago Bears on Wednesday. With a logjam at the wide receiver position, the Bolts moved him to a Bears team that really needs some help at that spot on the offense. Chicago lost Cameron Meredith and Kevin White to season-ending injuries, and rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky really had nobody to throw to in their win last weekend.
The Cleveland Browns selected Myles Garrett with the first overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, and he has proven to be the right selection. However, Garrett may miss this Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings in London, as he is currently in concussion protocol. Garrett has shown to be an explosive player since coming to Cleveland, and he will be a building block if this organization is ever going to start winning.

Finally, it looks like the Denver Broncos will have one of their stars back on defense on Monday night. Shane Ray has been out since training camp with a wrist injury, and will return from IR for the Broncos’ matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs to cap Week 8 of the NFL season. Ray and his teammates will be looking to snap a two-game slide which has seen them absolutely dominated in both losses.
