1. Butch Jones
Is this the week that Butch Jones finally has his last stand? If there’s anything that could be seen as surprising thus far this season, it’s the fact Jones continues to survive each week and make it to another game.
Now, a reason for that could be the big buyout he has if the program chooses to fire him. However, it’s just hard to see him surviving the season at this point regardless of whether or not they have to pay him to go away.
His first big act was surviving the bye week. Heading into a bye week off of a bad loss can often lead to a firing right then and there as programs like to give their interim coach a week to get things in order.

He survived that and now he managed to survive losing to Alabama. His offense was shut out and the defense mustered a TD that put the program in the spotlight because of an obscene gesture after.
Now, his last stand could be against the Kentucky Wildcats. He needs a win in the absolute worst way here and if he doesn’t get it or furthermore, gets embarrassed, then that could be it for him finally.
