Is The Exorcist new tonight, October 27? You’d think so, right? You’d think there’s no better time to air a new episode of The Exorcist season 2 than the Friday before Halloween.
Unfortunately, that’s not what’s happening. Due to FOX‘s coverage of Major League Baseball, the network is airing Game 2 of the World Series between the New York Yankees and Houston Astros tonight. The Exorcist season 2 resumes next Friday, Nov. 3 at 9 p.m. ET.
It’s unfortunate that the preemption fell when it did, as it would make perfect sense to have a new episode of TV’s scariest show going into the Halloween weekend. But at least we had an episode on Friday the 13th!
The good news is that if you’re not a baseball fan, you can use tonight to catch up on any episodes you may have missed. Check out our recap of the latest Exorcist episode to make sure you know all the big plots twists (including that huge one at the end!)
