The Memphis Tigers aim to keep their New Year’s Six hopes alive against Tulane, and those looking for live stream information can watch the game online.
Down 17–0 at halftime on the road against Houston last week, the Memphis Tigers desperately held on to their hopes of a New Year’s Six bowl game, and stormed back for a dramatic 42-38 victory. Quarterback Riley Ferguson finished with 471 passing yards, and though Patrick Taylor, Jr. did most of the scoring (Taylor scored four times on the ground), Ferguson made his only TD pass count when he connected with Sam Dykes for a 21-yard score with 1:18 left in the fourth quarter.
With the win, Memphis improved to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in AAC play. The lone blemish on the team’s NY6 resume remains a 40-13 loss at UCF in September. If the Tigers take care of business down the stretch, they may have an opportunity to avenge that loss in the conference championship game.
But first things first, and Tulane is no push over. The Green Wave, 3-4 overall and 1-2 in AAC play, have hopes of qualifying for a bowl game. Willie Fritz’s team made life difficult for USF last week before losing 34-28.

Nevertheless, Memphis has an edge in overall talent, and the Tigers also have the home field advantage at the Liberty Bowl. It should be no surprise Tulane is currently a 10.5-point underdog according to many online sports books, though more information on this matchup is available from SportsBook Review.
